DAY TRIP TO GETTYSBURG..THE IRON BRIGADE AND BIG ROUND TOP

TODAY AUGUST 1, 2009 WE TOOK ONE OF OUR MONTHLY TRIPS TO GETTYSBURG. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY AND WE WALKED FOR ABOUT 5 HOURS VISITING MANY OF THE IMPORTANT PARTS OF THE BATTLEFIELD. WHILE WALKING BY THE PENNSYLVANIA MONUMENT WE CAME UPON THESE REENACTORS FROM THE IRON BRIGADE, A TRULY EXCELLENT PORTRAYAL OF THE UNION SOLDIER AT GETTYSBURG. ALL I CAN SAY IS THESE GUYS WERE GREAT!
